Byron Peter Cabin
In an effort to fulfill the mission of the Byron Peter Foundation for Hope -- to inspire troubled young people with hope for a strong future -- the Foundation's first project was to build a new cabin, called the Byron Peter Cabin, at the Episcopal Conference Center, a camp and retreat facility located in Pascoag, Rhode Island.

Byron and his sister, Phoebe, and brother, Seth, spent happy days at the ECC Camp, whose aim is to enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of young people.

A number of professional contractors, carpenters, roofers, and electricians agreed to volunteer their labor and expertise, and groundbreaking began in November 2004. The goal was to raise funds for the cost of materials only for building the cabin, estimated at $22,000-$25,000.

In March of 2005 the Byron peter Cabin was completed and is now used for weekend retreats throughout the fall, winter and spring by campers, and provides housing for camp staff during the regular summer season.

Camp Scholarship Fund
In addition to building the cabin, the Foundation has also established a Camp Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance for troubled young people who might benefit from the supportive environment at the camp.

We hope that you will support the Scholarship Fund and other Byron peter Foundation projects by purchasing a raffle ticket or by making a monetary donation. Your generosity will go a long way towards providing hope for a strong future to a special young person.

Held each year since May 2005, this event features fun for the entire family. The fee is $10 for participants 15 and over; kids 14 & under fish free. Prizes are awarded!

~ Handicap access & fishing from dam on other side of pond off Farnum Pike
~ Use lures, flies or live bait

Donation: Adult $10.00; children 14 & under fish free with paying adult

Adult Division: Prizes for the 3 Largest Bass
   1st Place - $100
   2nd Place - $50
   3rd Place - $25

Children's Division: Prizes will be awarded to children for the 5 largest fish. Fish can be of any species. Only 1 prize per child with a top fish.

With monies raised by its various projects and raffles, the Byron Peter Foundation for Hope has been able to help sponsor the following youth groups:

Annual Raffle
Each year the Byron Peter Foundation for Hope, Inc. sponsors a raffle featuring great prizes donated by interested businesses and citizens. Proceeds are used to provide a wide range of opportunities of hope for at-risk youth.
